Tomato paste, ketchup, tomato pieces, etc. in the dog's food will help. The acidity of the tomato neutralizes the base in the urine (or the other way around, I get acid and base confused).

a bit of tomato ketchup in the food will stop it or you can buy a block from pet stores that goes in the water bowl
sprinkle a little baking soda on the urine. it helps neutralize the nitrogen and keeps the lawn from burning.

Best thing to do is water it down making the urine more dilute and therefore having less of an effect.
Its best to try and train the dog to wee whilst on a walk. There is no easy way to do this apart from praising and rewarding should the dog coincidentally urinate during the walk. Your dog woul soo understand that this is a good thing.

I was watching a programme on tv a few weeks ago and it said if you give you dog a couple of tea spoons of orange juice with their food their urine wont stain the lawn .Why not give it a go

Feed your dog tomato juice on top of regular feeding. The acid in the juice (i guess) will neutralize the nitrogen. My folks are serious about their lawn. They have an 80 pound lab, and have been doing this for years and they have no burns in their yard.
It's the acid in the ketchup that kills the nitrogen. However, the acid is also causing harm to your pet.
There are several good dog catalogs that sell products to put in the food that neutralize urine in dogs. They work. Try Drs. Foster and Smith or In The Company of Dogs. These are two good ones.
Are you sure there isn't a male dog coming into your yard and urinating where she does? It is a male's urine that stains the grass, not the female.
well i bought a spray called stay off,
from pet store a few weeks ago and works wonders,cost "£6.00, and i am so pleased to say no dogs go near my grass.
