My lavender plant looks completely dead. Can I save it?

Question:I got it in the ground too late and now its all brown. I dont see any green or purple.

Answers:
Cut off the dead branches and other brown parts of the plants. Disentangle some soil from it. Dig a hole and put some new fertilized soil. Then place that lavender and cover the root parts with new soil also. After that, water it as much as you can. Don't let the soil dries out. By 2 ~ 3 weeks, you will see new tiny leaves coming out. So don't worry much. Just try to do it.

Is it a perennial in your area? Then leave it on the ground. It will come back next year. Trim off all the dead branches so it has more strength when it does
uh oh! i was just given a small lavender plant and i aint planted it yet... we've been so wet i was waiting for it to dry out a little. i dont even know when its supposed to be planted (zone 7) but now im afraid i might have waited too long too!
Try Myke Mychorrizae. It is a bacteria that promotes root growth. I had a tree that I was loosing, and I used this. The tree came back healthier than I have ever seen it.
