Arrggg! I tried a lot of things to scare these damn snails but they're still alive. So all I need to do is to pick them with a stick and step on it. hahaha. Better than sprays, easy to kill.
you can kill snails using any salts but it's the best way to put the salts around you plants in order to avoid snails to come in.
You trap them with Beer, they have traps they sell at Home Depot and you just put beer in it, they drink and drown.

If you want to just get rid of them , without killing them, then buy a container of cayenne pepper and sprinle it aournd the flowers. This will burn them and they will leave. You will need to re-apply after it rains, but it will also keep other insects out of your flowers. I have even sprinkled it on the flowers to keep some pests from eating the leaves. It works .

Surround your plants with one of these: wood ash, sharp sand, crushed egg shells, lava rock, diatamaceous earth, cedar, oak bark chips or gravel chips. These will cut & dehydrate the slugs & snails & eliminate them.
