Do they have allotments in the Channel Islands?

Question:I have an allotment at the moment and am soon moving to Guernsey for work - are there allotments in the Channel Islands and if so how do I apply for one? Thanks.

Answers:
Jersey certainly has at least one site, though fully booked when I last looked.
Try enquiring at the local horticultural society.
