It is probably environmental like wind, or blossom drop.
To battle the wind just place something around or against the wind to help.
If it's blossom drop it will most likely be because of temperature dropping at night or being too high during the day.
If it's possible to move your plant then do it, if not cross your fingers and hope for the best.
Okay...now..when they blossom..the blossom stays on a few days..then drops as a small pepper starts emerging..look closely see if you see little green dots coming out..if this isnt the case..it is called "blossom drop" and from too much water, or improper drainage..they like water but not what is called "wet feet"...too much without draining rots the roots..blossom drop can also be caused by unusually hot temperatures.During the hottest days of July and August, many pepper plants experience water loss by transpiration, no matter how wet the ground is. The results are wilting, flower drop, and sometimes even fruit drop. Antitranspirants, oil or wax emusions sprayed on leaves to reduce water loss, are available. They do reduce water loss, but they do not increase yield or pod size. The simplest method of fighting transpiration water loss is to increase the humidity around the plants by wetting thick layers of mulch such as grass clippings.
