Need help on my garden?
Question:what is the easy veggie to grow.
i have never had a garden at all and hope to start one soon, but, i don't know a thing about growing a garden, so what to start with and what to do?
can you tell me thing to do with it and how to make it the best i can have?

Hi, It's really not very hard and you'll find that growing a garden is just a process of trial and error. Since you've never gardened before then I would suggest you use the rest of this season preparing your soil. Locate a nice sunny area and till up the soil. You can then amend the soil by adding some sand, topsoil, manure, dried grass clippings, peat, and then turn it or till it again into the freshly tilled soil. After that mulch with straw and water frequently. By next season your garden will be ready for the plants. Some of the more popular and easiest veggies are tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, beans, peas, lettuce, radish. Actually they are all easy. Anyhow, if you want to plant from seed then you will need to start them indoors in February. I like to use peat cells because you have everything you need right there and you just pop them in the ground when it's time. You'll want to wait until the last frost in your zone before putting your plants in the ground. If you don't want to start seed then your local garden center will veggie seedlings ready for you at the appropriate time.
Tomatoes are very easy but it is a little late in the year, you may be getting them in the fall when everyone els is out.
Do not over feed them or you will burn the roots, just a little water and good dirt.. maybe some mulch.
Just for argument sake:United States Supreme Court, which ruled unanimously in Nix v. Hedden, 1883, that a tomato is a vegetable for the purposes of 1883 Tariff Act, although botanically, a tomato is a fruit.
none of the ones I grow are difficult, leaf lettuce, greens (spinach, mustard and collard greens) Green beans (blue lake bush) and tomatoes are considered a fruit...research your vegetables on line or go to the local store or library and read about veggie gardening.good luck
Most veggies are easy to grow - You should just pick one and try it - I have been gardening for many years.

These are all easy.
Since you are new at gardening, get a tray of plants at the Home depot instead of trying to start from seeds. You will have a huge head start.
90% of a garden to preparing the plot. It needs to be tilled, add some compost to it and a little fertilizer. Rake out rows, they can be mounds if you choose. Then plant your plants.
about 1 to 2 feet apart, depending on the plants. You will need to water about three times a week if you are not getting rain. Vegetables need to grow in full sun. Do not forget a fence if you have bunnies or squirrels.

Any type of plant that doesn't grow underground is easy to care for. All you need is a good plot of land, some fertile soil, and water.
Here's a sample of easy things that I have in my garden...
-Chile peppers
-Tomatoes
-Any type of herb
-Bush beans
I'd just like to add that you should probably hold off the garden idea til' next year. It's a bit too late, but in the mean time you can start to plan out what you need to buy for next year.
May I also suggest starting off with seeded plants from the nursery since it is much easier then germinating yourself. After some years you can try seeding yourself.
Tomatoes,carrots and bell peppers are pretty easy to grow.Go to the library nd check out a book on growing veggies. I found it easier to grow them in a raised garden like a planter box. Just make sure you lightly dust them with a garden dust like HOME GARDEN & PET DUST. Dollar General has some for $3. This stuff really works. Good luck with yous garden!
