Caring for Pink Jasmine trees. Can you help?

Question:I live in SoCal. I bought two Pink Jasmine trees for my semi-covered, south-facing patio. One is alive, but stopped blooming. The other dies almost completely, grows like crazy, dies again...within months. What the heck is going on?

I thought it had too much sun...then not enough. Not enough water, then too much.

What do I do? Help!

My tomatoes are growing perfectly.

some plants don't like growing pots, if their in the ground, does the water soak down 10 inches ? try a good organic mulch like composted leaves + grass clippings
