Mushrooms growing in my yard please help.?

Question:I have a multitude of white mostly flat but some round mushrooms growing in my yard. I take pretty good care of my yard and want to be sure its not a major problem. Any ideas on why they are there? and as to what i can do to fix the situation. Thanks again

Please no drug comments.

Answers:
They are not going to hurt anything. Why not just enjoy them while they are there.

They are there because there are mushroom spores from days gone by living on your lawn. When the weather is warm and the moisture just right the spores turn into mushrooms and grow. Then the cycle repeats when the weather is just right again.

they aren't a problem at all. it means that you have very good(rich) soil
If they grow in a circle, you have a fairy ring!

There are two varieties of mushrooms. One can be eaten and other not. please check up and if you have the edible ones then prepare food with it. It is extremely good and contains lots of fib res and minerals. You can also sell them.
If that is the bad variety then destroy them.
are you watering at night or in the evening? This can contribute to fungus.
you have rich soil. the mushrooms are fungus and can be controlled with a fungicide purchased at your local Agway or greenhouse.
be sure to bring a sample of each mushroom so you can get the correct formula.
good luck
