Is anything needed for freshwater plants?


Question:I want to put live plant in my aquarium but I don't know if I need some special type of gravel or something like that? Is normal gravel ok or is some thing else needed?

Here is the care for freshwater plants, you won't need special gravel, the regular is fine, just make sure whatever you plant and what is living in the aquarium can exist together, I'd bought plants for mine and turned out that my fish loved eating it! So I was left with remnants of it.if you need extra info ask at your local pet store, they know what plants go with fish etc.
