Crape Myrtle Tree?

Question:I have a Crape Myrtle Tree that is about 5 yrs old. The last 2 years it got this funny white powdery stuff on the leaves and eventually on the flowers. Now the powder is coming again on the leaves. (Its doesn't have flowers yet). Last year I sprayed it with an incesticide made for pests, but it did no good. What can I spray on this tree to get rid of this white powder before it blossoms and ruins the beauty of the tree? Thank you for any ideas. This tree is so beautiful when it blooms. Big lavendar flowers.

Answers:
Spray it with daconil. It is made by ortho. Sounds like powdery mildew disease. It is a fungus.

omg ours do that...and it happens like every other year or so and i really hate it...
