Do you know a handy home remedy for 'rhizoctinia' or limb rot which often affects anthuriums?

Question:I need to know if anyone has successfully treated their anthuriums of this nasty problem?

I found some control methods here:

but am wondering if anyone has had some success?

Answers:
Rhizoctinia is caused by high temperatures and humidity in the presence of poorly drained soil. To prevent this, do not overwater and use well-drained soil.

To prevent problems, it is also a good idea to remove dead foilage from your plant often, and remove any faded or brown flowers.

Keep the plant in bright light (north or east windowsill would be best) but NOT direct light, watering on a weekly basis. Generally they should be thoroughly moistened & then allowed to dry out between watering.

Sorry I can't help you more, since I haven't grown Anthuriums. All the sites I've checked say that 'rhizoctinia' can be controlled with fungicides. My experience with plant rot is with my Iris plants, which I was able to 'cure' by digging them up, completely removing (by washing off) infected soil from around roots, cutting out the infected parts & quickly soaking them in a bleach & water solution... which stopped the rot.
(Maybe this is pertinent since one of the the fungi which causes root rot is Rhizoctonia?)

Good luck! I really wish I could have found out more for you.
