i recently bought/installed landscape lighting around the house. the cheapest brand name i found was Malibu.

if you buy from a retail store, you'll typically pay $14 for an individual spot light (20-50w) and $9 for a cheap pathlight.

if you buy lights online in kits (lights & transformer), you'll save even more money.
