i'm almost embarassed to admit to this love of such a tame and mundane flower, but: primroses. they come in such a variety of colors and veriagations, and looking at a mixed mass of them just makes me feel like the world is a beautiful place, and that everything's gonna be alright.

Serisouly, it is difficult to choose, but if you force me to, I'd have to go with the iris.

Depends on what day it is, because most of them are beautiful. But for today -- I'm going to say poppies, because even just one can light up a room. (Will admit that the iris people are right. They are georgeous, and the light purple ones smell heavenly.)
I absolutely LOVE lillies...my husband buys them for me when he's been bad! LOL
