Which grass best resembles St. Augustine ?


Question:I live in north Florida and my lawn has a number of bare spots. I would like to seed the bare spots with something that resembles St Augustine. Since St Augustine grass is only available in sod it would be too labor intensive. I have large areas and I think it would be easier and cheaper to seed instead.
