In full to part sun. Dig the bed very deep - at least 15" down - and loosen with sand. Remove stones for straighter carrots. Water evenly. Don't crowd the rows and avoid high nitrogen fertilizers to prevent forking. Easy to grow. Great for kids as a garden project.
