Absolutely!
Jostaberries are a special breed cultivated for their flavor and size. They are a cross between black currants and gooseberries. They are high in vitamin C and truly delicious, although if you're not used to sour fruit, you may need to add a lot of sugar. They're not generally eaten raw because they are too sour for most palates, although some varieties can be sweet off the bush. Instead, follow recipes for gooseberries or fresh black currants. You're lucky if you have a bush that is producing!
