When you mow your lawn?
Question:Do you mow it first, then weed eat
or the other way around?

I am not rich, and I am no snob, but I will have to watch my yardman the next time he comes. I am 57 and would rather spent my energy with my grandkids and the horses. I do most of the tending of the roses, and I shovel horse poop,[which is great for the roses] clean and cook, or order in. Mowing first makes sense to me, though.
Mow, then weed eat. Although our weed eater is broken, so our yard looks like poo!

I mow then weed eat. I try to get as much with the lawnmower as I can because my arm gets tired from carrying the weed eater... :)
if you weed eat first the mower will chew up the larger pieces .. but it is really a matter of choice
You always mow first and then weedet. You mow first because often you miss a section or didn't get as close to the house as what you thought. It's safer to mow first so you don't have to do the same thing twice.
When mowing and weed wacking your lawn, one should mow first. This is because you don't know how close you will get to the areas you will have to weed wack(eat).Once you have mowed, then you can see clearly the areas that need weed wacked.
we always weed eat and edge first, then when you mow it picks up all those cuttings. Much cleaner. Also, you should mow in a different direction each time you mow.
