I have a pembrokeshire hedge ( large and small boulders layered with turf) as a back wall to my garden?
Question:however my very naughty jack russell can escape over when the mood takes her.i would like to add another level to this (its about 3ft high at the moment) to stop her.
anyone know where i can buy boulders and how much should i expect to pay for them.

I have just bought some boulders to fill a Gabion Basket wall. Garden centres are incredibly expensive. I contacted a local haulier who I know deals with a local quarry. The boulders I bought were approx 10" diameter (not sure what size you need) and cost £300 plus vat for 16 tonnes! Not sure what quantitly you need, but if its significant I would definately recommend contacting a quarry direct. Hope this helps. ps that includes delivery !
Many garden centres sell boulders. They're quite expensive & difficult to move. Hope you've a strong back! It depends on the type of stone you choose. Visiting G.C's or phoning around is the only way to know.
Boulders would be very expensive. You don't want boulders. Have you considered razor wire, searchlights and a machine gun nest?
You could always put up a regular wooden fence behind it...
