What's the best weed killer on the market?
Question:I've already tried one product (weed and grass killer), but hardly had any effect. What's the best one out there, so I can get rid of these pesky weeds in my landscaping?!
Answers:
Round-up, without a doubt.
And I have tried many of the other brands. Some of the "quick weed killers" will show visible wilting sooner, but the weeds always seem to come back. Round-up takes a little longer for visible results, but it will kill that weed or grass down to the roots, and they will not come back.
Good luck!
The best one to use is Round-up, it even will get rid if tree shrubs. Concentrated works the fastest.
I have always had success with Ortho Weed and Feed. You can get it at any store that sells garden supplies, and it is easy to use. Just follow the directions.
Round Up is a good broad leaf killer but it will also kill the grass
I buy the concentrate and use a sprayer and get leaves and root area It seems to do a good job . I get it at Walmart for about 20.00 that will make 10 gallons
Crosbow, but it is around $100 a gallon.
But you can mix a cup of soap into 1 gallon of vinegar and one cup of salt. Spray this on your weeds, it will kill them fast. Really does a number on dandelions and broad grasses.
The best kill potential of any herbicide is a total vegetation killer which also has a residual effect stopping regrowth for up to a year.
"Turf King" is one such Total Weed Killer. Here;
