About vermicomposting, I am not sure if the red wigglers have anything to do with the invasive earth worms?

Question:that have been turning lots of forest grounds into mush?

Answers:
I don't know where you got that from, but even if there is such a problem locally, you should still probably try to attract worms They are good for soil, but not necessarily for ALL plants. If you're planting veggies, you should avoid using vermicast and the like, because they can attract worms that may eat your veggies. But for any type of plant, vermicast and the like is the best stuff out there. It's hard to find, though. Look at www.1800TOPSOIL.com to see if they service your area. I know they're national. Good luck!

I've never heard of any worms being bad for soil...in fact, you WANT them. The red ones are just a little better at their job than the others.
