How to get rid of gophers?

My dad used to dig open their hole, light a railroad fuse, tuck it into the hole. Cover the opening with a small peice of cardboard and lay soil over the edges to seal it. The fumes from the railroad fuse did the trick.


Stick a water hose in the hole and put it in full blast
Drown the little suckers
and when they dont drown you wait at one end with a shovel and whack them across the head when they come out
use caster- oil in their openings or caster-beans.
stuff moth balls in the hole
hire some local kids to shoot them give them $1 a gopher. makes everyone happy.
Go to your local garden center and they should have something.
