How to unflood a push-mower engine?

Question:How- now

Answers:
The correct way to do this is, put the lever on stop, pull the cord about 7 or 8 times to dry out the plug. Put lever in full throttle position and give it a quick pull or two. Never fails.

Leave the throttle full open and the choke open and let sit for about 20 minutes, then try to start at half throttle and no choke.
throttle all the way up and open the choke and pull till it fires. If it doesn't then wait 2 mins. then try to choke it.
When I flood mine I do one of two things.
1. Sit down and enjoy a tall glass of tea, then the mower is ready to start.
2. Do the weedeating first, then the mower is ready to start.
Hope this helped!
If not open the throttle to the "Rabbit", no choke at all. Keep pulling the rope till it starts.
1. Take out the spark plug and dry it off
2. With the choke off and the throttle on slow, pull the cord about a dozen times.
3. Reinsert the plug
4. Pull until starting. This will produce blue smoke for the first few seconds, but will go away
