What is a good free website to learn about basic lawn care?


Question:I just bought a new house with a basic lawn and was wondering what I could do to make it look perfect. All I've heard so far is use fertalizer about once a month. I really need a good go-to referrence. Thanks!

Start by clicking on "annual program". You'll be asked for your zip code and grass type. What you'll get is a rough outline of what to put down and when. Then, go to their discussion forums for answers to specific questions, or more details. Those forums are full of very knowledgable, helpful people.

Honestly, read the warnings on the back of a fertilizer bag. Do you want your kids and pets exposed to these chemicals?
