There were crows in the early morning on my roof and it was really annoying. I searched and found this website that has a cd called crowbegone. I purchased the cd and played it at my house and it works. All the crows went away. All you do is let the cd play all the way through. I followed the directions on the website. Just pulling your chain. I like crows. I think they are fun to watch.
I usually just hang a dead one from a tree branch. Once they see one of thier own like that they tend to stay away
Scarecrows work fine--as do disposable aluminum pan tied to a pole with string, ribbons, etc.
You can also purchase fake owls that work too.
Anything that has movement tends to scare them away.

If you live in the country side, the best solution is to securely cover and clean up all trash, which attracts crows, as they are scavengers.
Many companies use chain and lock on their garbage canisters, and you can ask them for a company accessible lock so they can unlock the garbage can chain and empty the trash. If you have a lot of them then you have given them a food supply of some kind. Maybe dog food or the garbage cans? There is a dog food container that the dog must push open with his nose to get the food birds can't open it. I got one for my dog and i hardly have any birds around now.
