Anyone know anything about Leeche nuts?

Question:I have some seeds I would like to dry out and make into a potted plant to see if I can get them to grow. If anyone has any information that could help me out, it would be greatly appreciated!

Answers:
Depending on where you live, it may be a waste of time. Lychee are supposed take a long time to fruit, so growing it from seed may be a really really long time. It's usually better to purchase these types of fruit trees because they are started from grafts, which are already mature and start bearing fruit sooner. But, if you are like me and want to do it just to see if you can, go for it...maybe keep a record of how long it takes to germinate and go from there.
