How do I winterize a Mondivilla plant?

Question:I have a Mondivilla Plant on my deck. How do I protect it in cold weather?

Answers:
First i think it's Mandevilla not Mondivilla

Then to winterize them, you cut them back on a cool day, before frost. Then move them indoor either to a sunny window or in a cool garage/cellar, and water them every 3-4 weeks (rather similar to what you do with fuchsia). For what I know, the chance of Mandevilla winterize successfully is about 50% with the indoor window method and even lower in garage or cellar.
They usually weaken signigficantly and loose leaves in winter and might (or might not) recover the following year.

Cut it back, put it in the basement and water once a month. Works
for me.
