Where can I find Rocks in Florida?

Question:I'm looking for Large Rocks for my landscape. I live in Orlando and I cant find any. Any suggestions?

Hi I live in florida too not to far from you . I have always found some pretty awesome rocks near creeks or railroad tracks have them too . I also look for them in the woods too if you have any around you . good luck and happy rock hunting .

Commercial vendors/landscape contractors will be your best bets. Naturally occuring stone is a scarce commodity in sandy Florida. I would try to see where there is construction where rock is used and ask, if they are finished and have to haul the balance away anyway, if you could have or buy at a discount, what is left.
