Do weeping willows grow well in Colorado's front range area?

Question:

Answers:
Willows need lots and lots of water. They do best growing on a riverbank.but boy, they are a beautiful tree!

Dogwoods would be a better bet, weeping willows need lots and lots of water and do best near a pond orstream.
They thrive in wetness
I have grown, and seen growing weeping willows, as far north as Minnesota. While yours may not get as tall as some, if there is adequate water ( do not plant near septic systems...the roots are very invasive!) it should grow to be a lovely tree with some winter dieback. If you have a running creek or stream, wet weather vein or pond to plant it near, that's a perfect spot!
