Problems with my pond?

Question:I have a very big problem in my pond. There are tons and tons of them clams. how do i get rid of them. Is there any chemical i can buy or do i just deal with it?

Answers:
I have no idea but the clams are there because they are eating something. If there was not a food source then they would not be there. This might be a clue as to how to get rid of them. You can probably get rid of some of them but unless you get rid of the food source and 100% them then they will be back.

What I want to know is.what's wrong with the clams? go ahead and poison the water, see what else you kill in the process...
ok is this a man made pond ?? how did you get clams in it in the first place? i dont get how they go there...if you poison them you will kill everything else in the pond as well... i would go to a nursery that has pond set ups and ask them
u should eat them all. man these people are giving some stupid answers. screw them. Eat them man
