How many times a week do you have to water a hosta plant?

Question:

Answers:
The only time my hostas get water is when it rains and they're getting ready to bloom.

Yea, hosta plants don't really need to be watered that much. I'd say two or three times a week depending on how hot it is outside.
I water mine about twice a week because they do get very hot in the summer and the leaves get lighter. They love both sun and shade combination best. I have shared some of my plants with neighbors. Of course, the more they are watered, the less chance of the stem that contains the bloom to appear, although in Zone 7, the stem bloom here usually doesn't occur until late June. (Depending on the variety of Hosta you have).

Just feel the soil and if dry, water it. It will be very grateful, although it can tolerate dryness fairly well.
Hostas dont require much water, and once a week is more than enough! There are times when weeks go by and I dont water mine, and they do fine.
a good watering about once a week unless they're in direct afternoon sun then i would water at least 2 to 3 times a week
