Any opinions on fruit picking in Virginia?
Question:Anyone known any farm around Northern VA for fruits picking?
Answers:
Check out the PYO in Purcellville (I forget the name)- take Rt 7 west to the Purcellville Exit - make a left at light off exit - go past the first traffic light to the stop sign, make a right and it's right on the left - I saw a sign for blueberries while i was driving by last night. check out the adds on www.leesburg2day.com - I think they advertise!

Yeah, I went peach picking somewhere out I81 (just past Leesburg) a couple years ago. I'll try to find info and come back.
Take route 50 west past Middleburg to Paris. I can't remember the route number, but there is 1 traffic light as you come into Paris. Take a left at that light. You'll go about two miles and start to see signs for peaches. There's a couple of farms on that road where you can go and pick your own. I went to two last summer and they were both very good. At one, they were also selling peaches and homemade ice cream.
The PYO (pick your own) information that el_andme was referring to can be found here:

I've been to Tarara for the blackberries (and the wine). Both were good.
