I have large stocked pond that is overgrown with large lily pads Any suggestions on how to get rid of them?

Question:

Answers:
pull them out by hand is the best way but leave some for the frogs and small fish

nuke em' there are widely available aquatic herbicides to control unwanted vegetation. roundup for ponds.
Pull them by hand, you may want to use a rake as they have heavy tubers for roots. I don't think you should pull to many though as they shade the water and prevent algae growth witch is not nearly as nice to look at.
