How to care for potted daylillies?

Question:

Answers:
If you intend to keep the daylilies in their pots (sort of like container gardening), check out this site for some great care tips and guidelines:

If you plan to plant them in an outside garden, there is no mention of which Hardiness zone you live in but daylilies typically will do well in zones 3-9. Here in zone 5 we can plant them from spring clear through fall. I have had success with planting them in July and getting a few blooms in August for some of the later blooming varieties of daylilies.

If you plant them in the ground now, be sure to water them morning and evening for the first 2 weeks.

You can try and plant them in the ground, but they were probably forced at a florist (I assume) and will not bloom again this year. They may bloom next year. They will need sun.
