How do I take care of indoor palm tree?

Question:I got a tree from Costco and I am not sure , when should I water it and also do I need to change sand once in a while or no ? please help .. I water it everyday about a small glass, not knowing how should I go about it .. Any suggestion would be highly appreciated. Thanks...

Make sure your palm tree gets plenty of light, but nott direct sunlight all day. Water it only when the soil is a little damp & don't drown it. I'm thinking it wouldn't need to be watered more than twice a week. You don't need to change the sand. If you remember what type of palm it is, you can find the watering info, etc. on the internet.
