My house is hot?
Question:dont have AC. dont have a fan. it 83 degrees. cant sleep. i tried cracking a window. didnt help. cold showers dont seem to do much. now im sweating. how can i cool my house down? all lights are off. all shades on windows are closed. no sunlight is getting in our house. so why am i still hot? i cant sleep with 83 degrees. even if im naked, i still cant sleep. help!

get a fan then they are cheap and if you keep your body moist it will cool you quite effectively. the best thing is just to get some air movement. and turn off your PC cos it will be producing more heat that you obviously cant deal with
Without a fan at least, not much you can do.
Toss a sheet in the freezer for a bit and then wrap up in it. Maybe you will fall asleep before it warms back up.
you need to break down and get a AC or a fan..mainly both u can use the AC to cool your house off completely and then use fan to keep the cold air circulating..
maybe you should invest in a fan. you can get a cheap one at walmart for sure.
