What can you put on grass to make it greener?
Question:I have bermunda grass, and I want to know if there is anything I can put down on top of the grass to make it greener?
Answers:
Fertilizer that is high in nitrogen is what makes the grass green. Be carefull though, making it green can be at the expense of tough grass that won't die as easily. This is summer, grass is not supposed to be really, really green in the heat.

there are a lot of fertilizers on the market. go to your neighborhood hardware store and they will give you what you need. you can use pellets that come out of a drop spreader that you push around the yard, or sprays. the store will have a drop spreader or sprayer bucket to rent. be careful not to over fertilize, you may scorch your lawn. or you can hire a lawn care company. visit scotts.com for helpful info.

Serious though...go to a brake shop and ask for the shavings off of their brake drum and rotors. Iron will green it up. It will turn yellowish at first the green up. You can spread the shavings with a spreader.
Mix this solution, it is common household products. And spray it through a garden sprayer:
1 Jug of clear ammonia
1 bottle of palmolive dishwashing liquid (must be palmolive)
Plant Food (miracle grow)
1 beer
This is a high nitrate formulae that will help control bugs and green up grass and any plant. It is far much cheaper than buying fertilizer and works better. Works great in a veggie garden also.
Apply Urea, it contains 48% of nitrogen. with this application grass grows as well as turns green. Itz up on you, how you fertilize, directly U can mix into water tank which is connected only to your garden for watering and fertilizing or you can apply manually and then water the grass.
