Has anyone heard that planting garlic next to your rose bushes can prevent black spot fungus?

Roses love garlic...Why I dont know but it seems to work. If you have black spot fungus it means you need to have more ventilation around your roses...


It doesn't prevent blackspot, it prevents aphids. Really nothing short of chemicals prevents blackspot, unless you live in a dry area.
