When is jalapeno pepper seed ready to plant?
Question:like what to look in a seed like does the seed needs to be old like can you just plant it just from the seed you get from jalapeno pepers you get from store
Answers:
As soon as you have spat it out and finished your drink of water.
plant it when its time to plant regular peppers
You need to wash then and put them in a wet paper towel till they start to sprout, then plant them!!!
Seeds from peppers you get from store is not going to work. Better if you by a plant from nurseries!

Please keep in mind that almost all produce from commrcial grocers that is not specifically labeled "organic" will NOT germinate. They are treated to stop this process. You will be better off harvesting seed from organic growers & Heritage seed companies.
