My plants broke!?
Question:My sunflower that I started from a seed was getting pretty high, almost a foot. The wind broke it in the middle. Completly off. It also bent (cracked ) some of the other plants I started. Will it grow back? What should I do?

placing it in water might reroot it so you can plants again.. it also might give the sunflower enough life so it will go to seed and you can save the seeds to plant next year.. you might wanna rope up you higher ones to give them support... you take a thin piece of rope and loop it around plant and tie it to a fence so some thing near by.. good luck!
cut it and see. it might be a goner.
I do this with my plants-intentionally-when they get too big. Put it in like a gallon of water until it grows roots. This can take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months. When the roots are long enough sturdily hold the plant you can plant it.
It will keep growing if there's at least one leaf on it. But you will more than likely never see a sunflower. Its like cutting the top off a tree. It will continue to grow, but outward not upward.
