How much is a palm tree?

A 10 to 12 foot tall Cabbage palm (the kind you think of as being in Florida) would cost about $350 planted. Zone 8 is about as cold as you can get without them dying. Water every day (from the top) for the rest of the summer.

It depends on where you live. In South Carolina you can get one for about 15$ (smallish low cost option) and in Conneticut, you won't be able to find one because they won't take the cold.
