How do you get rid of the tiny bugs in your plant? I have an aloe plant in my bathroom.?

Question:I have these annoying little bugs, they look like fruit flies and I am not sure if they are, but they hang around the plant. How do I get rid of them? And do you know why this happens and how do I prevent this?

Answers:
You might have gnats and these usually are found in the potting soil used for your plant. To get rid of these, get a spray bottle full of water and mix a tablespoon of dish liquid soap. Spray your plant and the soil with the mixture every day for at least 5 days. Your other solution is to just repot your plant in a clean pot and new potting soil and get rid of the old soil that the aloe was originally in.

you could try insecticidal soap or put a dish of soapy water next to your plant. the bugs will drown when they land on the water.
