Lawnmowers?

Question:I need a lawnmower. I want to know where to buy it. I also need to know what brand to buy and what features I need. My yard is slightly hilly.

Answers:
a riding mower, push, self propelled? How big is the land to cut?
Do not go to a pawn shop,,their price for a used is almost the cost for a new one at wal-mart.
Shop around or call the lawn and garden stores in ur area,,lowes home depo,,etc, they can be helpful,,and hardware stores,,the mom and pop kind,,may be too expensive,,call around first, then decide when u find the type of mower that best suites u.
Briggs and Straton is a good motor,,most mowers use their motors,,so it depends on what will be comftable for u.Pull string,,electric start,,(thats my best choice 4 myself),,as far as weed eaters,,i bought a battery operated one,,its mid size and seems to work fine,,better than the gas ones i had before,,but mowers may depend on ur age, yard size,if u want to push ride and how much $ u r spending,,
Either way u go,,buy new,,not used,,alot less maintance that way.

Get a robotic mower. They are great. They do it automatically or you can use a remote. They chop the grass so finely that it falls to the soil in the lawn and acts as a compost fertilizer for it to.
If you are the market for a smaller(21") mower I would suggest a snapper or a toro self-propelled with a 6hp for both speed and cutting tall grass. I have a lawn maintenance business in Florida and we only use ZTR mowers. They are very easy to manuever and will last a homeowner many years. Dixie Chopper and Ex-Mark both make a 34" model with Kohler command 20 horsepower or a Generac 22 horsepower. These two options will run you about 5000.00 each...but you will never buy another one. Look to spend about 700.00 for a good 21" mower. Don't buy cheaps ones or you will buy cheap ones nearly every year! Good luck!
If your yard is slightly hilly, I would recommend looking at spending the extra $$ for a self-propelled mower, because it will make the hills MUCH easier!

I personally love our mulching mower (Craftsman, from Sears), because unless we let the lawn go for too long, we don't have to bag it when we mow. We didn't get the self-propelled type, but we have a relatively small lot that is more or less flat.
