No spark on craftman garden tracktor?

Question:

Answers:
It would really help to know how old, how long since started, if electronic ign. or points? If you tried a new plug-it doesn't guareentee it's good. Do you have or know someone you can try the plug in another machine to check for spark?

You shouldn't have to remove the flywheel to get to magneto, most are mounted on the outside or over the flywheel.

Has it been stored outside or where rust could have built up enough to not allow a good magnetic field to be created?

Are you SURE it has NO SPARK-or is it just NOT igniting?

More info is needed as to what you have done or tried to properly help diagnos the problem without sending you in the wrong direction.

Would be glad to help you if you want.

inspect the plug wire and the magneto for good contact
