Coloured corn seeds?

Question:i've grown multicoloured corn on my backyard i know already it's decrative due to the three different colours the seeds have but does anyone know if i can eat them as well?

Answers:
I need to clear up a little deadly confusion here. Do not eat "pink" corn even if the color washes off. This is a mercury compound applied to seed to prevent damping off. RScott

Yes, they're perfectly good to eat. The Hopi, some of the earliest corn growers, grew primarily colored corn and ate it all their lives. Have fun!
The coloured seeds are just a dye which usually washes off in water. Not sure why you would want to eat hard corn seeds? I'd rather wait till the corn grows then eat yummy corn-on-the-cob smeared in butter.
hell yeah! mexicans word! hope U R not an anti-mexican racist.
colored corn and beans are good to eat. we even have corn tortillas of many colors, and they all taste the same lol
