What would a landscaper charge to cut tree branches for 4 hours?
Question:I am wondering what a Landscaper would charge to do about 4-5 hours of cutting down tree limbs & branches. I was offered $100.00 to do it myself by a customer of mine, but I normaly don't do this type of work. I might make an exception if she makes it worth my while. But I don't wan't to overbid and loose the chance to make some money seeing I'm broke.
Answers:
Landscapers usually bid by the job. Depends on how much work is involved, and whether or not she wants you to haul off the mess it makes. $100 doesn't sound like much. I paid $400 just to have someone "clean up" about 1/4 acre from limbs that had fallen. No cutting involved. Mostly just raking up the little pieces, and it was worth every dollar. That's hard work for $100. Better think about it some.
most tree trimmers, not landscapers, would charge around 40 an hour i'm sure, landscapers would not normally be the one to call for an inexpensive rate,if you need the money go for it,be careful
A tree surgeon will do the work, not a landscaper. He can charge up to $100 an hour.
Be sure your insured, if a branch fall on somebody of something like a car, it may be very expensive for you. Also use the proper equipment both for safety and cutting. It is a very dangerous work.
