How to get rid of white fly on outdoor plants?

There's an active ingredient called; "Imidaclorprid" in several products found at your local hardware store.one of which is called "Bayer's Advanced Tree & Shrub Insect Control". It is a systemic product designed to kill most sucking insects (except mites)...such as aphids, whiteflies, scale insects, thrips, etc. A single application will last an entire season. It's very safe and easy to use.
You simply mix it with water and then apply it around the base of your ornamental plants. The roots will then absorb the product and then translocate up into the upper portion of the plant...including tender/succulent growing tips.
I've used it on all of my ornamental flowers, shrubs, trees and vegetables (early in the season) and haven't had a problem with any sucking insects.
EXCELLENT PRODUCT!

If you don't want to use chemicals and the leaves are within reach, wipe them off with a damp rag. The dampness will make them stick to the rag before they can fly off.
If you can't reach the leaves, use a steady spray of water on the affected areas, repeating the process every 3-4 days...the water knocks them off and they end up drowning.and then buy some lady bugs to keep them from coming back.
