How to make a stencil for a yard sale sign?

Question:i have poster paper, but can't print very good.on social security and don't have the money to buy them. want to make some special looking signs so people will notice them.going to make about 10 of them. need help.

Answers:
Draw your letters and cut them out with a box cutter or exacto knife. then draw and color them in! Use a hard surface that won't be an issue if damaged by the blades.

Well, since you typed this question, I assume you have access to a computer and therefore access to a printer (doesn't have to be color unless you want it to).

I can't print very well either, so I always do everything on computer. You can use Microsoft Word or another word processing application to create your "sign". You can type the words and increase the font size to something like 48 or higher for the letters. You can pick any font type to make it fancy or keep it simple.

Since I'm not sure the size of your poster paper, you can then print out your "sign" on one or multiple pieces of 8x11 laser paper as necessary. Then just cut out the words/letters and paste/tape/glue on your poster paper for display.

Hope this makes sense.
