Lots of plumbing questions re central heating & hot & cold water?

Question:I am in the process of relocating my bathroom and need to bring hot & cold water and a radiator over to the new bathroom. I think I knwo what I need to do, but just wanted to run my ideas past people on here. I'd appricate any feedback!

My heating is on 8mm (I think) microbore fed from tees on a 22mm send & return. Downstairs rads are fed from a ceiling drop & the pump is on the return. There is currently an 8mm feed for one of the downstairs rads where i want the bathroom one, but this already serves 2 rads. I guess the best way to do it is tee off the 22mm. I also understand that copper is the way to go due to the pump being on the return. I was intending to use push fittings for this.

As for the hot & cold water, I was considering plastic, again with push fittings.

Eventualy I intend to get a combi boiler, but that's not for quite some time as yet, butI can't see this causing any problems.

Any comments?

Answers:
Use microbore or the new Hepworth plastic pipe( barrier pipe for hot water and heating) and solder or compression joints for micro and push fits for Hep.
Tee off the 22mm. You can up the copper or microbore to 10/12 mm, doesn't hurt and doesn't put strain on the pump.Remember, when you get a combi, you dont need your hot water tank, and the pump will be in the combi, or u can use existing as an auxillary pump, but ask advice from plumber or come back to me

Be careful when using Hep or Speedfit, (which I consider far superior), as long lengths can buckle when heated. The coefficient of expansion of plastic pipe is far higher than copper. Also, if it is going to be seen, it is far more difficult to keep it straight and tidy.
Your heating will be 6mm bore ,come out of the 22mm with 15 mm ,you can use copper or plastic ,but space your pipe brackets every 500 mm to stop pipe bend ,push fit fittings are expensive , you will be better using compression fittings ,
micro bore has a tendency to block up in hard water areas .
hope this helps you
