In the state of NJ, what can I expect to pay for a complete renovation/update of my bathroom. See details:?

Question:The bathroom is very small maybe 8x10 at BEST.

It needs to be completly gutted.

Only half the bathroom will be tiled (floor and half the shower area)

I am supplying the fixtures, toilet, new tub, and tile.

The contractor supplies the rest.

Approx what should I expect to pay? What have you paid in the past?

Answers:
Depends on some factors - particularly condition of underlayment (floor), currrent rough plumbing, etc. I think you could plan on $3000-5000 range.
I've been remodeling for 20 years.

well you will have to get a permit and also a electrical permit and a electrican that is cert. and you will have to have a inspection of it before they can close it in . so it will be alot please do your homework before you start anything that big. also go to discounted store for some of your fixtures and also go to a good tile store. i live in elizabeth nj
