turn down the thermostat on the hot water heater. good luck.
you need to adjust the knob control on the water heater to a lower temperature.
Ours did the same and it was a valve/gasket thing in the boiler. It meant it was permanently on. The water was so hot it was 'spitting' out of the taps.
This almost has to be from your hot water heater setting being set to high try turning it down most of them are marked on the gas valve where it should normally be set.
You probably need to turn down the thermostat on the hot water heater. Whether your heater is gas or electric this adjustment should lower your bill, too.
check the gauge on your water heater... you can adjust it to a lower temperature.
Depends on the type of boiler but most have a thermostat, sometimes two . so you can set he tap water temperature and the radiator central heating temperature.. Find the thermostat and lower the temperature setting. It will save you money for gas as well to do this.
Adjust the temperture on your water heater to a lower temperture. Be careful with children getting burned with water that hot.
You need to turn your thermostat down.
Check what the water temp is set at on the water heater. Sounds like it's all the way up.
Your hotwater heater is set too high. Look to see which knob or screw controls it, then turn it down. This will save on your power or gas bill also.
Thermostat on your hot water system set too high - it needs to be turned down a little. It now depends on what sort of hot water system you have - a domestic hot water boiler or immersion heater.
I have to agree with the rest
Sounds like the thermostat has failed
turn down the water heater.
have you tried turning your thermostat down on your boiler
Turn down the thermostat at the tank or replace it if it's gone faulty on you. You should hear it click when adjusted with a small screwdriver.
if the temp has suddenly changed and nobody messed with it--SHUT IT DOWN. this would mean the thermostat(s) has failed and can become dangerous. if you didnt know this allready then i recommend a licensed and competent plumber to replace the thermostat(s). it can be an easy job on an electric waterheater and fairly easy on a gas waterheater, given that you know what you are doing. you can do it yourself as long as it is done completely right. hope this helps.

turn down you hot water tank usually found in a kitchen cupboard in a flat or in the loft in a house turn the thermostat dial down one notch and leave for one hour then test the water **note turning the thermostat down too musch may cause tank rupture** then if the water is still too hot repaet the process again and if still too hot keep repeating untill the water temperature is at both a hot yet safe level. hope this helps
